This is an incentive scheme sponsored by the Economic Development Board (EDB) to encourage and assist companies to invest in equipment and systems which enhance the utilisation of scarce resources such as labour, water and land.
Attractive Interest Rate Fixed at 6% p.a. computed on monthly reducing annuity/arrear basis.
Loan Quantum Up to 70%, subject to a maximum of S$10 million.
Term of Loan Maximum of 7 years (inclusive of up to 2 years of grace period).
Eligibility
Local/Foreign owned companies with established operations in Singapore.
RPS is generally not offered for projects that are enjoying IA or Pioneer Status.
Exceptional cases for offering both IA & RPS may be considered subject to EDB's approval if the following is satisfied:
- Higher than industry average value added;
- Economic spinoffs; and
- At least 20% engineers/technicians or higher than industry average.
