  2. How do I use PayNow to deposit or pay loan instalment/interest to Hong Leong Finance?

    You can access PayNow from your bank’s mobile app or online banking and make payment to Hong Leong Finance in 3 simple steps:

    1. Choose to pay via UEN and enter Hong Leong Finance’s UEN: 196100003D001.
    2. Enter the deposit/payable amount and your Hong Leong Finance loan or deposit account number as reference number accurately.
    3. Verify payee information before submission.

  3. What payment can I make for?

    You can make payment for your Hire Purchase, Mortgage and SME loans.

  4. What type of deposit can I make?

    You can make deposit into your existing Fixed Deposits, Savings, Savers Plus and Fixed Savings Account.

  5. Can corporates use PayNow to pay Hong Leong Finance?

    Yes, corporates can use their bank’s business banking online or apps to make payment of loan instalment or interest payment.

  6. How would consumers or corporates know they are paying to the right party?

    After entering Hong Leong Finance’s UEN 196100003D001, amount payable or deposit amount, and reference number, payer can verify the entity name appearing as "Hong Leong Finance Limited" before proceeding with the payment.

  7. What happens when I forget to enter my Hong Leong Finance loan or deposit account number?

    Payment made without a valid loan or deposit account number as reference number will be rejected and returned to your bank.

    For late loan payments, late charges/interests may apply.

    For deposit, Hong Leong Finance will not be liable for interest earn on the deposit.

  8. How do I know if I have transferred funds successfully via PayNow?

    You can check the status of your funds transfer via your bank’s online banking service. Subject to accurate information keyed in, the successful funds transfer will be credited into your loan or deposit account. Timing for crediting is as follows:

    For Loan:

    • For transfer made by 4.30pm on weekdays, the payment will be credited into loan account on the same day.
    • For transfer made after 4.30pm on weekdays or during weekends/public holidays, the payment will be credited into loan account on the next working day.

    For Deposit:

    • For transfer made by 2.30pm on weekdays, the payment will be credited into your account on the same day.
    • For transfer made after 2.30pm on weekdays or during weekends/public holidays, the deposit will be credited into your account on the next working day. For example, transfer made at 5pm on Friday, the deposit will be credited on Monday.

B. FUNDS TRANSFER LIMIT
  1. What is the daily funds transfer limit and per transaction limit?

    The limits are based on your arrangement with your bank. Please check with the bank.

  2. What happens when my deposit or loan instalment/interest amount exceeds the daily limit?

    You can do multiple PayNow transfers per day or across a few days according to your bank’s daily transfer limit rules. For more information, please contact your bank.

C. FEES AND REFUND
  1. Do I need to pay a service fee for using PayNow?

    No service fee will be charged for using PayNow to make payments to Hong Leong Finance.

  2. Will I be charged a service fee if I paid Hong Leong Finance wrongly?

    No service fee will be charged by Hong Leong Finance for the wrong payment. The amount paid wrongly will be refunded to your bank account after three working days from the date of receipt.

  3. I have accidentally paid more using PayNow, when can I get the refund from Hong Leong Finance?

    Any excess amount received will be utilised towards payment of your next instalment/interest due.
